Located at the vibrant corner of Remedios and Pilar Hidalgo Lim in Malate, Manila, Bicho Bites Cafe offers an immersive culinary experience that combines authentic Asian flavors with a relaxed café vibe. It’s a go-to spot for locals and visitors who crave hearty rice meals, comforting snacks, and well-crafted coffee—all within a cozy and thoughtfully designed space.

The café shines with its stellar lineup of Asian rice dishes. Standouts like the Taiwanese Chicken Chop and Lu Rou offer generous portions that strike a perfect balance between bold seasoning and satisfying textures. The Taiwanese Chicken Chop, in particular, boasts a crispy, well-seasoned crust paired with fresh sides like bok choy and housemade atsara—a nod to traditional Filipino pickling that elevates the dish’s depth. These meals are especially recommended for those with a big appetite or anyone looking for a reliable, fulfilling meal at a great value.

Bicho Bites’ menu also pays homage to beloved Asian snacks and street food staples. Their bicho, Chinese-style donuts with airy yet crispy textures, receive high praise for their lightness and flavor, complemented wonderfully by traditional house-made soy milk. Other snack items like the Fried Mantou with condensed milk dip and Salted Egg Radish Fries carry a creative twist on familiar tastes, fitting perfectly as shareable bites or casual cravings.

Coffee lovers won’t be disappointed here either. The café offers a range of expertly brewed beverages, from smooth hot Americanos to iced drinks with rich layers of mocha or salted caramel. The carefully calibrated sweetness in drinks like the Mocha Hazelnut and the Spanish Latte makes each cup both comforting and energizing. The presence of fast and reliable Wi-Fi alongside ample power outlets adds to the inviting environment, making Bicho Bites an excellent spot for students and professionals seeking a productive workspace or a quiet nook for casual meetings.

Customers frequently commend the friendly staff and the welcoming atmosphere that encourages lingering, whether to study, work, or catch up with friends. bicho bites was such an experience <3 it was our first time trying bicho (we got cookies and cream) and it was so good! it was crispy yet airy at the same time, almost reminded me of popcorn. their coffee was nice too (spanish latte and mocha hazelnut) with the right balance of coffee and sweetness. super sulit ng rice meals because of the taste and serving size — definitely recommend getting half & half so u can try the lu rou and taiwanese chicken :) will surely go back with friends, it’s a great place for studying too because of their wifi and sockets this was a great cafe find that you should try. kudos also to the staff!

This is my go-to place for so many reasons; great service, friendly and approachable staff, delish food choices, clean environment, and cozy place where I can work or conduct meetings with my associates. It is very accessible to anyone as it sits in the corner of a main street. Further, the music is so appropriate (I'm very meticulous with this). I have been a regular customer since last year and Bicho Bites has always been pleasant; living up to the customer's expectations.

This is my first time trying Bicho Bites since I was looking for cafes along Taft and I must say, as much as I want to gate-keep this place, it deserves more recognition! Coffee was good not too bitter nor sweet, got the Mocha Hazelnut but their Spanish Latte was a little sweeter. I got the Lu Rou rice meal as well and it is worth the price. Their Taiwanese Chicken was good and crispy, it was also a large serving. The Cookies and Cream Bicho was also good and I would definitely go back for just that.

If you want to Get a Taste of Taiwanese Food . this is the perfect place to go. I love their airy and chewy Bicho Chinese donuts —best enjoyed with our authentic house-made soy milk. Affordable, aesthetic, and so delicious. Must try their Bicho Bites!

From the clean and chic interior, to the food, to the quick service, Bicho Bites may just be my new favorite tambayan. They have fast wifi and outlets, too, so it’s the perfect place to get work done for students like me. Their bicho blew me away. It was too good and it was served fresh! I highly recommend the milky way (I ordered matcha and cookies and cream for take-out, but milky way still tops). Servings were big! I want to try out their drinks, but I wasn’t sure if they had alt milk available for their coffee.

I’ve tried almost everything on their menu, and all I can say is 1000/100! The food is amazing, flavorful and unique, especially the flavored bicho snacks. The ambiance is cozy and spacious, perfect for hanging out with friends or family. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even better. Definitely worth the visit, and I’ll surely be coming back!

It's a cafe that sells Taiwanese food! We got the soymilk (cold and hot), Cookies and Cream Bicho, and Radish Fries. The raddish fries is pretty cool because it's a crispier bite-sized version of a radish cake. The cookies and cream bicho was pretty sweet to my liking. They have free wifi. We paid using cash, but QR payments are accepted.
